Operation & Safety Notes
  • Sterilization Temperature must be ≤ 135 °C (Improved type ≤ 155 °C). Exceeding this limit will cause damage to the motor.
  • Drill Limits Normal bone drills only hold bits less than 6mm. Acetabulum reaming drills deliver high torque at around 300 rpm, while cannulated drills run around 600 rpm with nails or K-wires.
  • Battery Care Always remove the battery from the tool after surgery. Small automatic discharges will shorten the battery lifespan if left inside.
  • Autoclavability The battery is not autoclavable and cannot undergo heat sterilization.
  • Cleaning Wash the cranial bur immediately after surgery using a purger to prevent blood from sticking inside, then dry it thoroughly.
  • Dryness Check Ensure there is no water left in the battery compartment of the handpiece after cleaning and sterilization.
  • Blades Info Cranial bur blades are made of medical-grade stainless steel. They are flexible and not excessively hard to prevent breakages, making them prone to attrition. We recommend using each blade for only one surgery.
